As the golf simulator chain Pallohai began to expand and new locations became a reality, challenges around managing venues and customer relationships quickly surfaced. Today, every location can be managed from one place. Through Thril, Pallohai controls simulator booking calendars, opening hours, access control, and events – all within a single view.
When switching systems became necessary, Pallohai’s CEO Santeri Grönfors says he was quickly convinced by Thril. The decision was made after learning about features that would allow the business to scale smoothly.
“I’ve gone through many systems both as an entrepreneur and as a customer, and this one made a strong impression right from the start,” Santeri summarizes.
When Santeri and his partners began building the golf simulator chain, their goal was to improve the year-round golf ecosystem. Finland’s long winter doesn’t naturally support outdoor golf, so the vision was to create a simulator chain that serves enthusiasts, beginners, and anyone interested in the sport, especially for winter training.

“The offer was so good it would’ve been foolish to say no,” Santeri laughs.

Today, Pallohai manages bookings, customer relationships, memberships, and business development for all locations through Thril. Access control and smart locking systems have also been implemented in collaboration with one of Thril’s partners.
From both sides, the transition from legacy systems to Thril went smoothly. While Santeri was initially cautious about integrations and system migration, those concerns turned out to be unnecessary.
