Thril reshapes the market for casual sports participation through a platform connecting players and venues across all sports. Today every sport runs on its own fragmented systems; one for padel, one for tennis, one for gyms, one for golf simulators. We are replacing that mess with one platform.
We are expanding from Finland and Estonia into the Baltics and Central Europe. New markets, new venues, new conversations. That is where you come in.
We are looking for someone who enjoys the hunt.
Someone who understands that sales starts with the first conversation. Someone who can pick up the phone, call a venue owner, and turn a cold number into a real opportunity.
This is not a “wait for inbound leads” job. Or a ”Marketing gives us bad leads” job.
This is outbound sales. ABC.
You will be calling sports venues across Europe. Padel clubs. Tennis centers. Golf simulators. Gyms. Pilates studios. The owners. The operators. The people who actually make decisions and struggle with old and legacy systems.
Your job is simple:
Find the right venues. Start the conversation. Open the door. Close.
You will work directly with our Co-founder & CGO and our GTM Lead, helping build the pipeline that powers Thril’s expansion across Europe.
Some people enjoy hunting.
Others prefer spreadsheets.

What makes this role attractive
This is not a “follow the script and book demos” SDR role.
You will operate on the frontline of international expansion, speaking with sports venues across Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, and Poland.
Your work will determine:
- which venues become Thril customers in each market
- which segments adopt the platform fastest
- how we refine our outbound playbook for Europe
You will help build the pipeline that powers the company’s growth.
If the Rainmaker designs the engine, you are the one driving the car.
The Role
Your mission is simple: create and close qualified sales opportunities with sports venues.
Your work includes:
Outbound Prospecting
Identifying sports venues across Finland and Europe that would benefit from Thril.
Reaching venue owners and operators through:
- cold calls
- creative outreach
Turning cold prospects into booked product demonstrations and closed deals.
Market Exploration
You will help us learn how different sports markets operate.
You will speak with:
- padel clubs
- tennis centers
- golf simulator venues
- gyms
- fitness studios
- sports halls
These conversations will help shape how we position the platform in each market.
Pipeline Creation
Your responsibility is to ensure our sales pipeline is always full.
This means:
- identifying high-value venues
- contacting decision makers
- qualifying interest
- booking demos with our sales team
- Closing deals
You are the first commercial contact many venues will have with Thril.
Our culture
We are a startup, so that should already tell quite a bit.
We operate with very little bureaucracy. Decisions are made quickly and people are trusted to execute. If you want to have repeated meetings for no apparent reason, this isn’t a place for you.
While we work mainly remotely, communication is constant and transparent. Everyone understands what we are building and why it matters. An office is also in the works. Please know how to use modern communication devices and apps. And no, we do not use Teams or Slack.
Most importantly, we genuinely enjoy (maybe even love?) working together. Many of us are friends outside of work as well and like to sport a lot.

A base salary that pays your rent & utilities + a performance-based commission.

Candidate Fit

We appreciate:
- 1–3+ years of B2B sales, SDR, or outbound experience
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Comfort with cold calling and proactive outreach (50-80 touches / day)
- High activity levels and resilience
- Curiosity about how businesses operate
- ABC
- Taste for good coffee is a plus
A sports background is a strong plus. Many of our customers live and breathe sports as well as your teammates.
You will work closely with our founders and GTM leadership, so we expect initiative and ownership.

Physical presence in Helsinki is preferred (once we have an office), but by no means mandatory.
