Gancho ry has found its solution for club management in Thril. Today, memberships, registrations, payments, and events are all managed through one system. According to club active Jussi Markula, there’s no longer any need to rely on scattered messaging groups or manual bank transfers.

We visited Gancho’s Night Padel event in Salo, held at Enko Padel. As the name suggests, the event featured a late-night padel tournament played into the early hours. Gancho is an active Thril user, and the tournament – organized in an americano format – was also run through Thril. This enabled real-time tracking of both match statistics and the tournament bracket.

From Chaos to Clarity

Beyond events, Gancho now manages its entire club operations through Thril. According to Markula, who leads the club’s activity team, the system has replaced outdated processes – especially when it comes to registrations and payments.

“Before Thril, things were quite chaotic – especially with payments. We used MobilePay and relied heavily on WhatsApp. Thril really brought clarity to everything,” he explains.

Seamless Collaboration Between Club and Venue

Thril is built to support both clubs and venues, also in collaboration. Gancho and Enko Padel were among the first to adopt these integrated features. Now, Gancho’s members can book courts at Enko Padel with their own pricing directly and without extra administrative work.

According to Markula, the integrations between the club and the venue make everyday operations easier for both parties.

Through Thril, clubs can offer member discounts, set pricing for events, and manage different types of bookings. These features have allowed Gancho to serve its community more efficiently.

“We became interested in Thril as soon as our venue switched to it,” Markula adds.

Attracting New Players

Since implementing Thril, Gancho has successfully attracted new players to its sessions and events. Markula notes that even existing members have become more active and are now participating in events they hadn’t joined before.

Events play a major role in Gancho’s operations, and features like waiting lists and easy payments have made organizing them significantly easier.

“There are always last-minute cancellations and changes before events, but thanks to automation, we don’t have to worry about them anymore,” he says.

The club’s events have reached a wider audience, bringing in more new players from the Salo area. Joining the club has also become easier than before.

“Just last week, a new member joined through a link I shared. They replied, ‘Wow, that was easy.’ That’s exactly what we want,” Markula explains.

He also emphasizes how the features help streamline the club’s day-to-day operations.
