New: With Thril's POS system, sales can now be handled at the desk too

We’re excited to introduce Thril’s own Point of Sale (POS) system as our latest feature. It allows venues to accept payments and manage sales on-site, right at the front desk. The POS connects directly to Thril’s booking system, so café sales, pro shop purchases, bookings, and memberships all live under one roof.

At many venues, on-site sales and bookings have until now run on separate systems. Thril users now have the smoothest possible solution — sales made at the desk feed directly into the booking system in real time.

One POS, many products

The POS can handle anything in your venue’s offering: café and pro shop products, court slots, memberships, punch cards, or equipment rentals like rackets. A browser-based interface and straightforward device management keep daily operations smooth.

Discounts and memberships recognised automatically

Because the POS talks directly to Thril’s booking system, it automatically recognises a customer’s existing discounts, memberships, and punch cards, and these can be applied with just a couple of taps. Splitting payments for a larger group works the same way as in the app, so everyone pays only their share.

Stock levels and inventory in one place

Inventory management is built right in. New stock can be logged directly in Thril, and balances update automatically. Stocktakes can be carried out and saved in the system, with previous counts and incoming deliveries easy to look up afterwards.

Many pro shop products come in multiple variants: different sizes or colours. These now appear clearly distinguished in both the product catalogue and at the POS. Thril will also flag a warning if stock is about to go negative, so errors are caught early.

No more separate stock spreadsheets or manual tally tracking.

One view for all your sales

When the POS and booking system run on the same platform, reporting becomes just as simple. All sales data flows into one place, making decisions easier.

The POS system launches in August 2026.
