Access control and booking systems easily end up as two separate things: two systems, two admin panels. Thrilock is Thril’s own access control system, built directly into the Thril booking platform eliminating the unnecessary steps in between.
Thrilock is a standards-compliant access control solution connected directly to Thril’s booking system and managed within the same portal.
With Thrilock, every booking automatically generates an access permission for the duration of the reservation. Access works via PIN code, RFID card, biometric identification, or the app. When a customer’s membership or booking ends, so does their access. When a booking is rescheduled, the code follows.
Thrilock means a sports venue doesn’t need a separate third-party access control panel or overlapping licences. Bookings, payments, events, lighting, and access rights can all be managed under one roof. The system scales cost-effectively, particularly for larger venues.
Access granted automatically after booking
Regular slots, events, and one-off bookings all follow the same logic in Thrilock. Access is granted to the customer automatically after booking, and ends automatically when it’s over. The system ensures no two people share the same code in the same facility at the same time, and released codes are recycled in a controlled manner. For regular slot holders, a permanent code can be set as the default.
The access code or door-opening option is delivered directly to the app and by email, in the customer’s own language.
If access needs to be revoked or a door opened remotely, it can be done manually from Thril’s admin portal with a single tap.
Security
At the core of Thrilock is efficiency and security, so that managing a sports venue can be increasingly worry-free.
An ordinary access card can, in an unfortunate situation, be copied in seconds and the system has no way of knowing whether it’s the original owner or a copy entering the premises. Thrilock supports credentials where the access data is encrypted and copy-protected, meaning the card cannot be duplicated with standard equipment.
The system also ensures that venue doors continue to work even if the internet connection drops, with events syncing once the connection is restored.
Compatibility
Thrilock is compatible with almost all 24V electric locks (such as Abloy’s EL series) and almost all readers — including MIFARE® DESFire (such as Idesco).
