Smarter search
Thril’s search has been updated! New search features make sports venues easier to discover and simplify everyday life for players.

Sports venues can now also be searched in Thril using everyday names for sports, such as “pingis” (table tennis), “futis” (football), “sähly” (floorball), “pesis” (Finnish baseball), “jumppa” (aerobics) and “spinning”. The right places are now easier and faster to find. Sport search also finds nearby related sports. Pilates finds reformer Pilates, padel finds single padel, tennis finds mini tennis and gym also finds crosstraining centres. A venue can also be found by chain name.
Small typos no longer get in the way so a venue can be found even if the name is spelled differently.
The web search panel now shows not only halls and sports but also events, tournaments and courses matching by name. In the Explore view, you can select up to five sports at once, and venue cards bring the matching sports to the top. If filters are hiding a result, the search tells you how many matches exist without them, and filters can be removed with a single tap.
Sports venues can now also set keywords in Thril to boost their visibility in relevant searches!
Player wishes are also better taken into account going forward. If a venue can’t be found, it can be recommended to Thril directly from the search results.
